
Heartsaver® First Aid/ CPR/ AED
Combines Heartsaver® First Aid with Heartsaver® CPR/AED in one course. Prepares students to provide CPR and use an AED in adults, children, and infants. Prepares students to provide first aid in a variety of emergency situations.
This course combines first aid with CPR/ AED training to give anyone a broad base of lifesaving skills and a credential for their job or other requirements. This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

In this course, you will learn:

The key steps in first aid

Assessment and first aid actions for the following life-threatening conditions: heart attack, difficulty breathing, choking, severe bleeding, shock, and stroke

Use an epinephrine pen

Control bleeding and bandaging

Illness and injury prevention

Recognize the legal questions that apply to first aid rescuers

Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, child, and infant

Use an AED on an adult and child

Adult, child, and infant choking

This is the ideal course for babysitters and child-care workers, health and fitness coaches, teachers and school staff, lifeguards, flight attendants, raft guides, construction contractors, landscapers and arborists, camp counselors, tour guides, and anyone who needs a credential in first aid and CPR for their job.

Upon completion, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification e-card valid for 2 years.
